Trait Atlas research surveys

Trait Atlas is an independent research organization dedicated to understanding human traits through psychometric research. Our current work focuses on BDSM, sexuality, and related psychological constructs. We develop scientifically designed surveys to better understand how these traits are organized, how they relate to one another, and how they vary across individuals.

Our long-term goal is to build reliable, scientifically grounded models that improve our understanding of human sexuality and make that knowledge accessible to researchers, practitioners, educators, and the public.

Each survey focuses on different aspects of BDSM. Feel free to participate in the different surveys available.

Before you participate

Anonymous research

Our surveys are completely anonymous.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other identifying information.
We do not collect IP addresses for research purposes.
We do not use advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies.
We only retain the information that you voluntarily provide in your survey responses.
Your anonymous responses may contribute to publications, educational materials, psychological models, questionnaires, software, and other resources developed by Trait Atlas.
